Automata mechanical Sculpture
I been working in one off pieces offent commissions by private collectors who will like a more personal work with there idea.
About me
I made my first automata in the late 90s. ‘Cabaret Mechanical Theatre’ sold it for me. I was also offered a job in the theatre by Sue Jackson and her daughter, Sarah. After working therefore for some years, the theatre closed down, but before this happened I had already started to make a living from my art.
Since then I have been working on one off pieces which are often commissioned by private collectors who would like a more personal work to be created from their ideas. Pieces are also commissioned by public institutions such as museums who require a donation box or coin operated automaton for visitors. These automatons are based on historical events or figures or on collections that the museum may house.
I am always happy to take on new commissions, both large and small. Over the past 20 years I have been commissioned by museums, public spaces and private collec-tors in Europe, Asia and America.
